We are thrilled to announce that Spinnaker, Red Thread’s latest short documentary, will be screening at two film festivals this coming weekend!
First up is Colorado Environmental Film Festival. The festival runs from Thursday, February 20th until Saturday, February 22nd and Spinnaker will screen at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 21st at FOSS Theater.
Subjects of the film, Stormy Mayo and Laura Ludwig, will be in attendance as representatives of the Center for Coastal Studies. After the screening, Stormy and Laura are excited to hold a Q&A session and be available to talk and answer questions about the film.
That same weekend Spinnaker will also be a part of Auburn Adventure Film Festival in Auburn, WA. Auburn Adventure Film Festival runs from Friday, February 21st through Sunday, February 23rd. Spinnaker will screen at 1 p.m.–2:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 23rd as part of the Aquatic Ascent group at the Auburn Avenue Theater.
Red Thread’s Jeff Ertz will be at the Washington festival to represent Spinnaker. Jeff edited the film as well as composed the film’s score. He is eager to speak about the film, the story behind it, and celebrate the art of filmmaking with fellow filmmakers and film enthusiasts alike.
