GAP South Africa: Clinic Spotlight
In March 2015, Bank of America and Vital Voices brought the Global Ambassadors Program, in collaboration with (RED), to South Africa. The program focused on the power of mentoring to advance women’s economic empowerment including their work in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
In 2013, the CBS Television Network scheduled public service announcements (“PSAs”) worth more than $200 million. A key part of this commitment was and continues to be the CBS Cares campaign, which was launched in 2000 and consists of PSAs featuring CBS Talent and experts. These PSAs have addressed numerous causes including depression and overcoming adversity.

The Good Mother of Abangoh
The Good Mother of Abangoh is the story of Sister Jane Mankaa, a woman who defies her family to join a contemplative religious order then leaves that community to care for the orphaned children in her village. the inspiration, dedication and willpower of this amazing woman sustains her family of 43 children. Shot on location in Abangoh, Cameroon, this film captures just how Sister Jane helps her children recover from their suffering and flourish in their new found lives.
